To start off this adventure we will travel by land southward from downtown Vallarta to Boca de Tomatlán (30 minutes by car). Great views and music!
⭐️ [Colomitos Beach + Yelapa Village] ⭐️
Once in Boca we’ll have 2 options to start our experience:
A great hiking through jungle and along beach to get to Colomitos (moderately demanding), or going by taxi boat direct to Yelapa.
Colomitos is considered “the smallest beach in México”
From there we can continue our tour to Yelapa “The Paradise on Earth”.
Yelapa is a lovely and typical fishing village that retain their charm and can only be reached by boat.
Once we are there, we will do horseback riding through the colorful small town on our way to the waterfall.
When we reach this destination, our friends from the restaurant at the top will offer you raicilla tasting (a local distilled spirit) before having a relaxing lunch at the beach where you can enjoy a swim at the beautiful crystal clear waters.

Ricardo was very communicative from the beginning. Met us two blocks from our hotel and drove us to a small town where the water taxis left for Yelapa. He was extremely helpful and generous with our party’s medical disadvantages. After getting his foot trampled by a horse, he kindly offered his sandals after mine broke. Would definitely go on another tour with him!
Whenever I travel, I like to dive into a little culture. Ricardo provided just that. He kept me informed of pick-up dates and times, what was needed, and even an option for my bad knee.
